DMA‘s reveal new video for ‘Too Soon‘ ahead of Album Release 26th Feb and UK Tour
More Manchester than Melbourne Australian Britrock band DMA have announced details of their debut album.
Called Hills End, the record is due for release on February 26 via Infectious/BMG. The band recorded the album in guitarist Johnny Took’s bedroom in Sydney, with noted producer Mark ‘Spike’ Stent (Oasis, Madonna) coming on board to mix it.
To coincide with this the band who have previously supported acts like the Courteeners are also announcing a string of UK gigs and a video of their track ‘Too Soon‘. The video for this album track is revealed below.
Lead Singer Tommy O’Dell says of the video
“We’ve worked with Mitch a few times, so we know he is sick. We like that it’s a purely visual clip and not conceptual or based on a narrative – sometimes you can get lost in that”
‘Too Soon‘ Video –
This is a real blast from the ’90s and the Oasis and Stone Roses influences could not be any more visible if Liam Gallagher were to appear in the background. If you like the genre and that 90’s time zone you wont be disappointed. This is a great little track.
