– WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOUR PROFESSION?

I love the fact that being an artist means there’s no limit to my creative freedom, I am able to tell my story and express my thoughts through my music without any discretions, I also love to showcase my art through performing, it feels great to know people not only enjoy listening to my music but also appreciate my stage show.

– WHAT DO YOU LIKE LEAST?

Like many major industries it would have to be the politics, but it comes with the territory.

– WHO ARE YOUR MUSICAL INFLUENCES?

Being a fan of good music allows me to appreciate a lot of different styles but to name a few that has influenced me musically I’d say, Usher, Boyz 2 Men, Dizzie Rascal, and J Dilla.

– HOW HARD DO YOU PUSH YOURSELF?

In terms of perfecting my craft I’m always refining my tools because I want to release the best music, I want the listeners to believe I’m the best at what I do and to do this I believe I have to push myself to be the best I can be.

– WHEN ARE YOU COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH YOUR WORK?

When my producer and I can listen to my record 5 times over without pausing and appreciate it more every listen I know it’s ready.

– WHY DO YOU THINK YOU HAVE SUCCEEDED IN A FIELD WHERE SO MANY OTHERS HAVE FAILED?

Well, I’m still on that long road to success, I haven’t reached the destination yet but I’d like to think I’m moving along the right direction because I’m constantly surrounded by creatively driven individuals and supporters who continue to support me and my music, my music is being heard all over and not just in the UK so I must be doing something right.

– WHAT’S THE MAGIC FORMULA FOR SUCCESS?

Idea + plan + action + 100% belief = success

– WHAT’S THE FIRST SONG YOU EVER REMEMBER BUYING?

Dizzee Rascal ‘Boy In The Corner’ –

Still aint got a clue what he’s saying in the last verse of ‘Jus a Rascal’… If anyone knows help me out?

– WHAT ARTISTS ARE YOU LISTENING TO LATELY?

Kendrick Lamar

Krept n Konan

Laura Mvula

Party Next Door

J Cole… the list goes on

– WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE ALBUM/SONG BY ANOTHER ARTIST?

I was dreading this question lol I don’t think I have a favourite Album/song. It’s like asking if you have one pair of favourite shoes? Before you think of answering this first take a sneak peek at your shoe collection… Difficult huh?!?!

– WHAT SONG OF YOURS ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF? AND WHY?

The song I’m most proud of is one of my unreleased tracks called ‘Notice Me’ it was over a J Dilla production and it was the first rap song I made which signified my musical transition and growth from just being a grime artist

– WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING IF THE MUSIC CAREER WASNT A OPTION?

If I wasn’t doing music I’d most probably be pursuing a career in boxing.

– OTHER THAN THE PEOPLE YOU’RE WITH NOW, IF YOU COULD GET ANY MUSICIAN, LIVING OR DEAD, WHO WOULD BE IN YOUR “DREAM BAND?”

If I could chose an artist to work with dead or alive it would be with the greatest to ever do it M J

– AND FINALLY, WHAT CAN WE EXPECT NEXT FROM YOU?

Right now I have my project out entitled ‘One Verse Only’ which is available to listen to on my sound cloud page. This is a series of freestyles which were consistently released every week for the past 8 weeks in the wake of my EP ‘Paying Homage’ which is now coming out early 2014 so follow me on twitter to keep posted, I did the One Verse Only just to show off really. I feel like many UK rappers lack consistency especially when it comes to music with content. I’ve recorded more than 25 original songs for my EP but only 8/9 will make the cut, the hunger was still there to keep on recording so I thought why not hit the fans with a few freestyles… and the response has been great, people are lovin’ the tracks.
