This comes as no surprise after watching the video to their track Personally. The video itself is based around the late legend, from dance moves, outfits and even a backdrop of the moonwalking singer throughout the video, which had over a million views on YouTube in 3 weeks. Even Jermaine Jackson, Michael Jackson‘s brother, praised the duo’s effort of paying tribute to his late brother with the video.
The twin brothers have already released five albums and won a number of awards including;
Hip Hop Awards 2006 – Best RnB Album, Best Music Video, Album of The Year
MTV Africa Music Awards 2008 and 2009 – Best Group
KORA Awards 2010 – Artiste Of The year
…and many more!
The track itself is everything you could ask for from a RnB Afrobeat song. Although the song itself is rather commerical, it’s no wonder P-Square are getting great reviews from their UK audience. The beat flows really well and instantly makes you want to get up and dance, it’s well choreographed with all the MJ moves, and as a huge fan of the legend himself, I give this video a big thumbs up!
The duo remind me of artists like Movado, Konshens, Gyptian and Vybz Kartel. So if your a fan of those I’m sure P-Square will have your support no doubt.
They already have mine!
