Review of Take Back The Night by Justin Timberlake

Taken from the 20/20 Experience album (Part-2),  Justin Timberlake follows hits Suit & Tie and Mirrors from Part-1, with the ‘Jackson-esque’ Take Back The Night.

Upon the first listen of Take Back The Night, yes you instantly pick up on the Jackson vibe, but you can’t take away that it is such a good good track. In my opinion Timberlake has gone up gear with his latest album.  He will always have the powerful songs and lyrics, but the production is beyond sophistication, but not too full on that will alienate his fans.

You will perhaps appreciate it more if you’ve grown up listening to Justin Timberlake and so will understand where he’s at musically.  He’s at the top of his game right now. He will always be relevant with the strength of his lyrics alone and we’ve all shared JT‘s sorrow, laughter and good times through his music. I guess we have to thank him for those times.
