Emeli Sande caps off quite an incredible 2012 by receiving four nominations for this year’s Brit Awards.  Her nominations are for best female, best album and two nominations in the best single award.

Rita Ora, Alt-J and Mumford and Sons received three nominations each.  Amy Winehouse also received an award for her album that was released posthumously.  Rihanna is up for best international female, if she wins, it will be her third consecutive award.
