Introducing Virgil And The Accelerators

Introducing Virgil And The Accelerators

The other day someone told me that they had seen a support band that in their view was better than the main act.  They are called Virgil And The Accelerators.  So I thought that I would seek them out and have a listen and what a treat!  Don’t be fooled by the ‘rock ‘n roll’ name – this band are pure classic rock and the way it was 40 years ago.  Real rock – not the diluted American pop rock that polluted the 80’s and 90’s.
You can hear some taster tracks for free at
Some great vocals and guitar riffs – anyone who likes good solid rock as born in the UK will love this.  Dig a little deeper and you will see that the band had their track ‘backstabber’ voted by Classic Rock magazine as one of the best rock tracks of 2011.
Watch them here for a video treat:
They are currently touring in the UK with plenty of dates still to pick from.
