Four Words by A Tale Of Two Cities (Review)

Review of Four Words by A Tale of Two Cities

The Bristolian quintet known as A Tale Of Two Cities has recently released a music video for its’ new single ‘Four Words’. The track opens with a catchy guitar riff coupled with punchy drums and boasts an impressively fine balance of melody and intensity throughout, a curious hybrid of pop rock and post- hardcore. The swooping, angsty vocals on the chorus along with the soft breakdown during the bridge are definitely worth a mention. Anyways just check out the video and listen for yourselves, it’s a great song!

‘Four Words’ is acting as lead single for the band’s upcoming EP entitled ‘New Horizons’, due out Monday 15th October. The guys have also scheduled several tour dates between late October and November in various locations including Glastonbury, Southampton, London and Bristol. Check out their Facebook page for more details.

‘New Horizons’ Tracklist

1. Four Words

2. Familiar Traits

3. The Fire Burning Through Our Wings

4. Machine

Also for those of you who have no prior knowledge of the band, another recommendation from me would be the video for an earlier number of theirs called ‘Juliet’.
